Hi, I’m Jukka-Pekka Haapalahti - you can just call me J-P. I live in Espoo (close to Helsinki), Finland with my family, and I’m currently looking for new opportunities where I can put my long commercial experience to good use. I’m currently exploring both full-time and part-time opportunities.

I’m commercial and business development executive with more than 25 years of experience driving growth, building high-performing teams, and shaping strategic partnerships across global healthcare markets. I bring a grounded, people-focused approach to leadership rooted in clarity, accountability, and empowerment. I believe in investing in people - through coaching, mentorship, and continuous development - because strong teams create strong results.

Throughout my career, I have worked in both large multinational corporations such as Roche Diagnostics and Thermo Fisher Scientific and smaller, agile organizations, giving me a unique ability to navigate complex global ecosystems while maintaining a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset. Over the last two decades, I have held global and international leadership roles across diagnostics and life sciences, where I have built and led multicultural commercial teams up to 150+ people and managed annual revenue exceeding $100M
